ECS 945GCT-M3 (FSB800) - Intel 945GC ICH7 - Realtek ALC883 - RTL8100C - GMA950 PCI-Ex16 - SKT775 - 4006188R

Does anyone knows how to overclock T3638? It usse an onboard Bios which mean, you cannot upgrade the bios from ECS, and the factory has disable the frequency control

I'm recall gman39120 put the ECS retail bios on that motherboard recently.

The Intel D945GCL MOBO used in the W3619, at least the ones I have seen, is manufactured by ECS and it is a 945GCT-M3 (V3.1). ECS only shows revision 3 on their site but I upgraded the bios in one using that boards bios with no troubles. I had a 3619 briefly before I went to the W3623.

That's useful because it gives you all the processor options, and maybe some overclock controls.

Regardless, with the latest emachines bios, you can probably put in an E2140 or E4400 dual-core processor.

That baby has quite some potential, but given it is in an ECS board...2.5ghz might be the limit?

Another alternative to bios flashing is clockgen/setfsb. First you will have to find your pll number.

Clockgen actually doesn't need you to give your PLL number, it worked straight away for me.
